Tuesday: Another Partnership Reading: Two Royal Sisters & Past Relationship
Tuesday 21st November 2023
For today’s reading, I wanted to step away from the heaviness of current politics for a moment, and look at another partnership spread, as it’s a really fun spread to do. I was thinking about sister relationships on the passing of award-winning author AS Byatt at the end of last week, and the much-touted rivalry between her (Dame Antonia to give her her official title) and her sister, fellow author Margaret Drabble. Now, the reading today is not about those two, but is about a pair of Royal sisters no longer with us: the late Queen and her younger sister Margaret.
Before we look in depth at the layout, it’d be great if you let me know of your preferences on any other “pairs” of individuals you’d be curious for me to read on. Remember, they don’t have to be romantic; they can be siblings, opponents, whatever.
Please do vote for who, if any, you’d like to see in the poll below. For now, let’s limit the options to a few, and then I can run another poll at a later date with different individuals.
And don’t forget, I’ve already read on several other “partnerships” already. If you missed those, you can check them out here:
So back to our reading for today, and our two sisters. The late Queen Elizabeth (Main Female) and her younger sister Margaret (the Rich Girl), for which we’re using our 21-Card Partnership Layout and the Alexandre Musruck Kipper deck.
Here’s how the cards came out (sorry, the titles can be a little hard to see in this large layout):
The Cards
Main Female, Rich Girl; Small Child, Pleasant Letter, False Person; His Thoughts, The House, Marriage; Legal Matters, Occupation, A Funeral; Hope, Big Water, the Court, Success in Love; The Living Room, A Rich Man, High Honours; A Long Road, The Prison, Main Male; Short Illness
What does it all mean?
