Month-End Roundup: Crumbling Institutions & Disaster, Ageing, Fake Gurus & Scandals, & The Loss of Some Old Stalwarts
October 1st 2023: A look-back at September 2023
Well, here we are with September done and in October already, so let’s look back at the month and week just gone. It’s been a busy month for me personally, that’s for sure.
To start off, just a reminder of the articles and info I’ve added here to the website. Remember, subscribers have access to all this for the lifetime of their subscription. There’s more being added all the time and will continue to be so—to ALL sections.

The Secret To Reading Lenormand Card Combinations
Meanwhile, I started to share some useful spreads from different systems. These can be used with pretty much any oracle deck and cover week ahead predictions, digging into the truth of gossip and rumour (whether about yourself or something else like a news story), plus a deceptively simple spread for delving into a problem.

Month End Reading Update
So a reminder of what’s actually been happening news-wise this month. A difficult month, with some terrible natural disasters at the beginning, including the earthquake in Morocco, storms everywhere, and tidal floods in Libya. Not to mention crumbling infrastructures, of the literal and metaphorical kind. Overly ancient politicians, especially in the US, came under scrutiny, Murdoch finally retired, handing his news empire down to his son, and meanwhile yet another a celebrity sex scandal broke here in the UK, sending international conspiracy theorists and YouTubers unfamiliar with this particular person’s noughties ‘laddish output’ into a frenzy. The issue of misogyny came into the frame in a big way, and meanwhile, again here in the UK the month has ended with our news full of the seeming self-induced implosion of generally right wing Fox News wannabes GB News with the suspension of several of its presenters, although calls from the not-exactly-covered-in-glory-itself BBC to shut it down completely seem somewhat authoritarian. Things not going at all well here for PM Sunak, as his government limps along and Labour very ahead in the polls. Weird times in general, all part of what feels like a breaking down before rebuilding, but perhaps that’s just me.
A Look Back At Our September Month Ahead Reading
It seems that this month we’ll be seeing people coming together with warmth in what will be difficult times, either for particular others in the public eye or ourselves, and there’s a reminder that setbacks and disasters are temporary and should not be seen as permanent. Love and tenderness will provide comfort and there will be help from strong people during what proves a difficult time, for someone at least. We should also see some kind of victory or material gain, but with the caveat that anyone who wants freedom or to get from A to B is going to have to create their own bridge to get there. There could be a sort of spiritual happiness about, but the cards are showing real difficulties on the road right now. Most people will be waking up to mundane tasks and the everyday of routine. We will see a particular marriage or deal ending completely.
Do not trust new friendships or alliances; we are being deceived. Although there’ll be lots of good people about, it’s important not to fall for scams or things designed to draw us in. Someone well known will suffer an illness but should recover. It does, however, seem that someone may be letting their demons get to them, acting with increased fervour, which will not bring them any good, and we’re likely to see them allowing their own paranoia to harm them.
So this covered the natural disasters, and the question of who can be trusted (probably not supposedly “truthtelling” conspiracists on YouTube, I’d say, but the old order has its own problems too.) Certainly, one self-styled “truthteller” member of a famous acting dynasty had something of a self-induced downfall this week, as did a couple of others, and he pretty much fits the bill of the final point here, and it seems to be being replicated all over the place. But are people coming together despite it all? I’m not sure about the “victory” or spiritual happiness, I have to say. Not really seeing it right now.
This Week’s Roundup
This Week: Senior Man Makes Changes, But Doesn't Benefit Workforce, Surprise Theft, Fakers Win, & Sad News Regarding An Ending Or Loss
It looks as though this is going to be something of a bad news week. Something upsetting is likely to happen to cause grief. An older or senior man will experience or create changes with regard to his high office or the rewards that he either gives or gains. There’s positive news from an important man in a particular institution or family regarding an older or senior woman. Housing, homes and buildings may be a factor. However, it looks like for the ordinary person, there’ll be really bad news with regard to work and making money privately or for families. A surprise comes when someone steals a precious item from an institution, or a court awards a villain some kind of reward or get-out clause. People will be challenged regarding someone completely fake gaining advantage due to a behind-closed-doors deal or arrangement, or seeing big advantage befall someone who is just pretending to be bonded to something. A good week for fakers and grifters. The advice to us all is that patience will be needed in terms of a journey through dysfunction. But the week ends sadly with news that a project has not come to fruition, or more sadly, with the death of a child.
Men in high position a feature of the week, with trouble of the institutional kind for both Biden and Sunak, not to mention in Canada, but few gains to be seen for the ordinary person. No clue about who the “older woman” refers to at present. There was a spot of mass looting in Philadelphia, but a “surprise” theft from an institution, I’m not seeing. Advantage behind closed doors could, after all, be pretty much anyone. But certainly, in a sea of horrendous news stories, came one thats begun some soul-searching here in the UK with a 15-year old schoolgirl stabbed to death on the street by a boy who seemed to think this was an appropriate response to her friend rejecting his advances.
Summary of the rest of the week’s readings as follows:
