A Week Ahead Spread

Here's a spread that works well with any of the Sibilla-type decks

Want a fun spread you can use at the start of a week (or another period of time) that suggests some of the key events you might see coming up?

Here’s one that is an adaptation of one of the spreads suggested in the latest Grimaud 2022 edition for the Sibylle des Salons, to look at the week ahead. In their version, which it calls "La Semaine Au Boudoir” it only suggests one card per area, but I think it’s more fun, and you get more out of the layout, if you use 2-3 cards per section to tell more of a story. I’ve also included the card from the bottom of the deck at the centre.

This works well with ANY of the sibilla-type decks which give lots of detail on events and people. In my example below, the deck is the Vera Sibilla, but you could equally well use the Sibylle des Salons/Indovina for which it was originally designed, the Traditional Austrian Zigeuner Fortune Telling Cards, or even the Kipper. Experiment and have fun!
