Weekly Roundup: Traps, Delayed News & What To Do Re: Deceptions, An Isolated Woman, Trump's Countdown & Obama's Mystery Visit
Week ending 23rd & 24th March 2024
Blimey. Well, we certainly didn’t see THAT news coming, did we? Poor Kate.
What I would say is hints that all was possibly still not well and there was a lot more to come health-wise has come up in several readings, and in the biggest way in this reading here. I looked at it both just from the images on the cards, and also adding extra information via the Vera Sibilla version and the playing cards.
The layout, incidentally, which we also used at the start of this week, is a simple but useful 16-card cartomancy spread that can be used for any deck and that some readers refer to as “The Witch’s Table”. I’ll be writing more about laying it and ways to read it over the weekend.
I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who are interested, my Royal readings in general, for anyone wanting to look back, can be found here:
Other layouts used this week were a simple Line of 5 spread, the Star Spread, and a couple of 9-carders, one of them expanded. I’ll go into the latter more when we take a look at the popular turn-of-the-20th-century American deck, Lenormand offshoot, the “Gypsy Witch” cards, as it’ll be useful to compare those with both Lenormand and the Russian Gypsy Oracle cards too.
Anyway, the particular method I looked at for reading a line of five is a useful one to know, as again, although it’s mainly used for Vera Sibilla, you can adapt it for lots of decks. It also can be used for any type of reading, not just advice.
And once again, the Star Spread, which is always a goodie for if you want to try a little lateral thinking and find the way to a goal. Just lay your “end goal” cards first and see what the cards come up with!
Now let’s take a look at the readings I did for this week, to see how they did.
The Readings
This Week: Misinformation or Misdirection, A Trap, A Man's Love Life & A Lonely Woman
It looks as though we’ll be aware that passing out of the situation now is something lost or stolen, a trap or restriction, with a lot of money and value involved and either delayed news or misinformation/poor quality information. Misinformation abounds and there may well have been press restrictions or misdirections. Something’s been lost or stolen (or someone is being fraudulent) bringing misinformation into the mix, it’s lost a lot of value or cost a lot of money, value or money has been limited, and it looks rather as if someone has been hoist by their own petard. It costs a lot of money, it seems, to misinform or mislead.
What may be less obvious is what’s passing out of the situation, according to these cards. A flirtatious woman and flattery bringing sorrow and regret and a furious, perhaps ‘crazy’ woman. Something appears to have hit the fan behind the scenes. Flattery and flirtation as a tactic has not worked for most likely a woman at all, leading to great rage and sorrow. All efforts and entreaties have failed. The flirtation turns to fury, the obsequiousness to tears and regret.
Coming up as to what is likely to be more on the surface, we have a main male figure and his love or love life , along with an isolated or lonely woman. and corruption, abuse of power, inflexibility, coldness and possibly poor advice. She feels separated from him and it could be that there is an air of dominance about him in their relationship.
Under the surface? A smart young man and an older, wealthy one, along with hopes disappearing for a reconciliation. The young man, who is usually someone fairly clever, doesn’t feel there is any hope and has his eyes wide open, but the older man is looking to reconcile. The loss or theft brings a trap for a significant male in his love life. There’s a lot of money involved to delay the news or in misinformation and misdirection, and there’s an isolated woman involved who is either getting bad advice or is being abused or dominated by someone more powerful. A flirtatious woman has been flattered and praised by both a dark haired young man and an older wealthy one. But there are tears of vengeful rage at a seeming reconciliation which destroys hope.
There’s also the theft or loss of a lot of money involving a flirtatious woman and tears or regret. A trap involved with regard to misinformation or delayed news, and flattery brings only fury for one woman concerned. There’s also a main man in the picture and an isolated woman, and a smart young man with whom there could be a reconciliation. Also in love, there appears to be abusive or power hungry behaviour or poor advice, and the older, wealthy man is losing hope.
Diagonally, a loss or theft regarding missing, incorrect or delayed information for a smart young man brings a loss of hope or a bunch of cynicism. In love, a woman is lonely and isolated, and flattery has only brought upset and tears.
Pairing the cards, we get a thief taking hope away from someone, being forced, cornered or trapped into reconciliation, a main male dealing with a furious, if not crazy, woman, and sorrow in love. There’s a lot of money connected with a wealthy older man, but there is misinformation or delayed news about a younger, smart man. The isolated woman is praised or insincerely flattered. People in general are being obsequious. And there’s an unpleasant or corrupt man in power connected with a flirtatious woman.
I was fairly certain too that the “isolated woman” is Kate. Now we know what the “delayed or misdirected news” was, how does the reading stack up?
The cards say that the snatching of something valuable has pushed someone into a trap regarding delayed news or misinformation/misdirection. This can be read in two ways; those spreading misinformation and unsubstantiated rumours have been hoist by their own petards, and much backtracking is ensuing, but also the actions of the “thief” (and there were issues about an attempted breach re: medical records this week) are what cornered her into revealing delayed news. Ultimately, she will benefit from this; finally being left alone, for one, and much more care taken by the media in what they stir up. Passing out of the situation behind the scenes (the four cards on the bottom left) show someone trying to attract by flattery as well as tears of rage. I guess that’s not something we’ll see outright, but we can guess I suppose. Am sure some are fuming that after all the stirring, cornering Catherine into a reveal of the truth has ended up giving her more sympathy and positive coverage, not less. Still not sure about that reversed Lawyer and who he is; it’s someone corrupt around who I’d guess are the Royals, but also “a flirtatious woman”. I also don’t like the reversed Hope card here, as it’s generally not a good sign. But we will just have to see see.
So what about the rest of the week’s readings? What were they predicting?
Here’s the lowdown.
