Weekly Roundup: Michael Mosely, Plus Gleeful But Unwise Cutting Of The Knots, Hunter & Joe, A Mystery Conwoman and Rishi v Keir Update
Week ending 15th/16th June 2024
Bit annoying that some of my preview emails aren’t going out to everyone, so here’s yesterday’s if you missed it, as some weird election vibes right now. Kind of like everything’s a bit upside down regardless of result.
Friday: Rishi v Keir, UK Election, & Two 5-Card Spreads With Interesting Results
Meanwhile some of the spreads used in this week’s readings were:
“The Gypsy’s Answer”, The 21-Card Partnership Spread, 9-Card Box Spread and the Line of Five.
Subscribers can get the lowdown on how to lay and read those spreads here:
So a bit of a mixed bag this week. Missing TV doctor Michael Mosley’s body was sadly found in a remote area of the Greek island where searches had been going on for several days, Hunter Biden was found guilty of his firearms/drug offences , the first of his court cases, the UK electioneering ramped up with various gaffes as usual, Charles’s “red” portrait got vandalised (I didn’t read on that). Readings wise, I covered those first three, plus a week ahead reading—and one “mystery” reading, where apparently the gossip is of an older wealthy man getting scammed by a younger love interest. The ageing Murdoch, perhaps, who has just married his much younger fifth wife? We’ll see.
So the summaries of the readings and how they panned out against actual stories this week were as follows. Click on the titles to see the full readings.
Monday: RIP Dr. Mosely. Take A Look At The Last Of My Card Readings Last Week
The cards suggested the overall answer to the question of “What Happened To Dr Michael Mosely"?” (reading performed two days before his body was found) involved a mountain or cliff near a coastal area, that had something to do with snakes, a poor outcome ultimately due to complications, but also, a situation where trouble was being escaped from, or at least an attempt was being made to get around a problem. Physical strength, fortitude and power appeared to be involved, as well as the idea of diet and sustenance. This suggests that the crux of it was in a mountainous area near the coast, possibly where there are snakes and could be trouble or complications, someone considering themselves strong, resourceful and resilient tried to escape from the trouble or find a way around a problem.
In the recent path, it appeared that there were hidden issues with health and vitality, represented as well as sharing knowledge and books about health and writing about diet. So he may well have had a possible hidden health problem. This has something to do with enterprise on this topic, as well as perhaps something to do with actual fish. Perhaps he had eaten something that didn’t agree with him too? Especially given he had just apparently been swimming.
The result was a cave, a death, a final resting place for the man.
We then have the man, his age, wisdom or integrity, something being written, likely involving that choice on the mountain path, the outcome of which, sadly, was complications, difficulty, betrayal; a problem on the road, a bad outcome. (And of course, literal snakes around). The underlying energy was a very hot, sunny coastal place depicted as having very blue skies, a rocky coast, and an island.
So we have the problem or bad outcome involving a death and possible caves, connected with something mysterious or hidden about his health which could be marine-related in a mountainous or cliff area. Then the problem or complication involving a house or home to do with fish and a hot sunny coastal area and an older person trying to get away from a problem.
Finally, we have a man, his age, something written about strength and the choice of route here depicted as one of two, with the final choice being the one that headed towards a mountainous area.
This was a reading I’d done two days before the missing TV doctor’s body was discovered, one of several I did, and easily the most accurate, in terms of imagery in these particular cards also, which was uncanny. Here depicted were blue skies, sea and bright sunshine, an island, coastal paths, cliffs, caves, mountains, a path into a mountain region. AND snakes. I only shared the reading once the outcome was known however, as felt it rather unethical to speculate too much while the search was still live. It seems he had taken a wrong turn up into the snake-infested mountains on his walk back on the island during a heatwave, with not enough water to sustain him. The coastal path was searched, and finally the mountainous region, where his body was found on a rocky slope near caves and the coastline, having stumbled (the details are still unclear, and it’s not yet known whether he’d fallen or had a medical event like heatstroke, a heart attack etc, although that seems likely). It just goes to show how much cards can pick up sometimes, and was quite freaky in its detail.
Incredibly sad story though, especially for his family. RIP.
Tuesday: Rest Of Week Ahead. Gleeful Insensitivies, & Cutting Loose The Knots. But New Alliances Are Not To Be Trusted
It looks as though what’s coming up is a sense of feelings and perhaps over-sensitivities being trampled on, perhaps rather gleefully. We’re being warned that while someone may appear to be a friend or in alignment, it is not wise to trust a new friendship as deceit is in the air with this individual, so careful who you fall in with. Wealth appears to be increasing internationally due to trade or work, or at least there is money about, and there could be unexpected pleasures and fun to be had.
There’s a sense that we’ve been weighed down by things that really just need to be cut adrift once and for all, released and let go of; this is the Gordian Knot the cards speak of, which suggest that true freedom can only be achieved by cutting it loose and getting rid of all the baggage, in one fell swoop. However too much uncontained fun and glee may go too far and there will be regrets and tears as a result. Careful what you wish for. It appears there will be a new addition to one family or another, and a guiding star will be bringing someone, at least, closer to achieving their ambition, where all their efforts will appear to be successful, at least on the surface.
However, it appears there is an unpleasantness coming which we all fall prey to, and any delay in prompt action will turn out to have worked against us. But by proceeding with care and caution, a good outcome should not elude us. We shouldn’t be over trusting, and all should be on their guard.
Overall, the cards suggest a lack of courage is stopping some of us achieving our full potential and goals, but prosperity is more likely to emerge eventually than not. There could be a change of friends or allegiances coming up in the news, and a long lasting friendship or alliance is likely to ensue. As a result of this new friendship, new travel or overseas options may become possible in the near future. There are difficulties on the path right now, but the suggestion is that these can be turned around.
Next was the “Week Ahead” reading proper, in a week where there was shock at the European election vote where there appeared to be a swing to far right parties again, this time mainly from the young, although we don’t really seem to be seeing that as much here in the UK. I wondered about that sense of “feelings being trampled on” and perhaps it’s a sign of a kind of gleeful reaction against some aspects of the current liberal consensus. “Careful what you wish for” was the message of this reading, however, and the warning still that “friends” and new allies mightn’t turn out to be quite what they’re depicting. The disgruntlement rumbling pretty much everywhere and across the political spectrum doesn’t seem likely to go away though, and election enthusiasm everywhere is seeming pretty lacklustre this year. Perhaps this reading is suggesting that new, more positive allegiances may start being formed from those feeling disenfranchised, so we’ll see, but I don’t think there was anything blatantly obvious this week.
Now let’s take a look at the last three readings of the week; Hunter, the mystery older man, and Keir v Rishi and the very odd vibes for both of them at the moment.
