Card counting, mostly in threes, fives, sevens or nines, is a staple of traditional 19th century card-reading and divination methods.

We’ve seen in previous posts how we can use counting in large grids like Grand Tableaus or the initial grid in the Six Main Themes spread, like the one we did at the start of the month, where we counted in fives to get an initial overview message.

And we’ve tried out a similar Counting the Cards By Sevens method a few times, which works well for decks without playing card references. You can check it out in action here, firstly with the Lenormand cards for a spooky Halloween reading, and secondly with the Bohemian cards.

Read on to find out more, where I’ll take you through an example.
