(NB, I’ll be doing our weekly roundup tomorrow). Instead for today, let’s look at another classic “counting” read, which is quite a fun one to do.

So this one is a variation on the spread recounted previously by Louisa Lawford, the Counting The Cards By Threes method, which you can find by clicking on the button below.

Counting With Cards

Counting the Cards By Sevens is quite a fun little method , ends up with 12 cards precisely, and as we saw with the Kamala reading, the SAME cards then being read in different ways.

It mainly involves counting in sevens to draw the cards, although it won’t give you more than one card other than the significator to reference when you count in sevens after it’s laid initially into its semi circle. That just gives you an overview. The extra other reading methods give you a decent amount of information though.

Purpose Of Layout

This layout tends to be more of a general reading than specific question-focused, but can involve a particular life area or question if you wish. Just note that the second part of it already divides the focus into “The Querent”, “Home” and “The Unexpected”, as well as a “Surprise”. So it’s a good open “What’s coming up this week?” type reading.
