Weekly Roundup: Warning Not To Plump For Vengeance, Hurt Pride & Karma Abounds
Week Ending 16th/17th March 2024
Blimey, that was quite a wild week Royal gossip-wise, no? Has the world gone mad or are people just desperate for distractions from more serious matters? (I include myself in this, as this week, all the posts are on Royal sagas).
Here were a couple of the layouts I used this week, both useful in their different ways.
This one’s a classic positional spread for the Vera Sibilla, that will happily work with other oracle decks too:
And here’s one of the favourites I keep returning to, as it’s great for getting in depth with core situations or people AND gives ‘event-based’ readings. The Tarot-originated Mystic Sevens is a spread that utilises classic French counting methods, and can be used with ANY oracle deck:
Do look out for another Vera Sibilla How-To post later this weekend.
And don’t forget, paid subscribers have access to ALL the learning how-to posts and detailed card-meaning lists on the main oracle decks and layouts I use here; the Vera Sibilla & Gypsy Cards, the Sibylle des Salons, Kipper, Lenormand, and you can access these via the website AT ANY TIME for the lifetime of your subscription. I am continuing to add to these posts on a weekly, sometimes twice-weekly basis.
This Week’s Readings
Meanwhile, here are the week’s daily readings from the Daily Oracle. How did they do?
This Week: Warning That Vengeance Will Have Bad Results, Pride Is Hurt & Watch Out For Karma
The cards for this week suggest there may be a hint of vengeance in the air for offences made or slights—but that this will only increase unpleasantness and end badly. Whoever is feeling vengeful is urged not to yield to temptation to get their own back as it’s likely to backfire. Meanwhile, we are likely to see a change in allegiances, serious illness and a loss of condition that is nonetheless only temporary, and someone not giving up on their dreams or what they feel is their destiny.
Overall, there is likely to be a new project failure for someone initially, but success will come, although there will be some hurt pride involved and again, a backtrack after taking something too far or making too bold a step. There is a warning here of karma again; any evil or negative action WILL have consequences, but eventually, positive will outweigh negative, good will win over evil. There seems to be a spiritual material or business fortune issue coming into play too, with strong hints that although material success on land may be hard to come by, success and perhaps money generation or business is likely to come for someone this week by sea.
Really, the message of this one seems to be that “feeding in” to rivalries will always backfire one way or another, and will always generate yet more negative energy, which then brings more drama, more errors, more unwise actions, worse outcomes. And while I’m not sure we saw “vengeance” directly as such this week, (and we don’t yet know for sure exactly whose hands were busy stirring which pots, as there seems to be a lot of murk going on behind the scenes), we did see some shockingly and quite bizarrely bad PR from both rival Royal camps this week. Is there a ‘saboteur’ in the Kensington Palace fold somewhere? I’ve had a few readings now where a “servant working against who they’re meant to helping” or hints of spies and infiltration has been suggested to be the case. It comes up in all of the following, for example:

As for a change in allegiances? Well, certainly the press seem to have turned on Kate all of a sudden; a shame, given that she’s the one who’s supposed to be in recovery from whatever serious operation she’s had, and the anti William crowd have certainly been very vociferous, with affair rumours resurfacing yet again & UK papers dropping not-so-subtle hints, possibly because a stubborn William is refusing to play ball in ‘revealing’ what has been wrong with Kate. Whether Royalist or Republican, I’m not sure why the Great British Public “deserves” to know this. The “public being interested” is not the same as “public interest”, after all. But at the same time, the real story is an issue of trust and the sense of smoke and mirrors with the Royals, or being taken for a ride by those who may well be happy to try to use power to stifle the press on genuinely public-interest stories they don’t want the public to know. So.
Meanwhile, could the new project the reading mentions be Meghan’s oddly-launched and poorly named “lifestyle brand”, seemingly designed to be a rival to Duchy/Highgrove brand mixed with Gloop? The hasty launch of American Riviera Orchard was timed this week to be announced to coincide with Wills (and Harry) giving their separate speeches at the awards named after their mother? No, not crass or cringey at all.
The rest of the readings this week were on similar themes as the Week Ahead one. What on earth is going on? Let’s take a look at what the cards had to say.
