Tuesday: The Debates? A Crescent Spread With The Sibylle des Salons
Tuesday 10th September 2024
With the Presidential debate (supposedly) happening today, let’s see what, if anything, the cards have to say about it.
For this, we’re using a classic Crescent spread but with the French Sibylle des Salons this time instead of La Vera Sibilla, as the Salons Quarrel card, which I’m placing at the centre as a focus, is perfect for the tone of the debate in my view. (For those learning oracle decks—what other cards from the various decks might have been suitable for this, do you think?)

And you can get all the lowdown on this classic 19th century deck here:
So what do these cards tell us about the debate today? Here’s how they fell. Note that as well as including the Quarrel card as a kind of significator to focus the reading, I also pulled in the final underlying energy card and placed it beneath after I’d laid the rest of the cards. Here, it came out as the Trap.
