Now, for today’s reading, I want to show you a deck and a way of reading that you could well be unfamiliar with. It looks and is rather complicated at first, but great fun and quite easy once you get used to it. The deck is the Russian Gypsy Card Oracle. The Question I asked today was “What Is The Message For Us In Our Country Right Now?”

Now, about the Russian Gypsy Card Oracle (which you can get in a book/card combo by Svetlana Alexandrovna Touchkoff). It has MANY familiar cards and symbols (and their meanings) from Lenormand, plus some extras, but is read in a “puzzle” format. There is only ever one layout, a 5 x 5, as above, and it uses all 25 cards. There are 50 symbols. Each “card” is made up of four HALVES of images. Each image consists of the main picture, a number and an arrow, which points in one of four directions, 1, 2, 3 and 4, each of which gives a different “flavour” to the essence of that reading. 1 is facing you, 2 faces right, 3 faces left, 4 faces away from you.
