In answer to the question of something being hidden from the UK public that showed up in the Russian Gypsy Oracle Card layout I did last week, I thought it’d be fun to see if I could answer the question using two other decks, and the inquiry layout. So this would be a great layout for trying to digging out secrets. You could also use a traditional 9-card spread, which is good for “digging deeper” type questions.
In this layout, you can use a significator card for the topic of your question. To discover a secret, look for the card in the deck that has to do with secrets, what’s hidden, and discoveries.
The two decks I’ve chosen to explore this with are the Sibilla Indovina (Parlour Sybil) and the Fin de Siecle Kipper cards.
The cards I’ve chosen as significators, the base, for the two readings are:
Important Revelation for the Sibilla Indovina, as this is the secret to be revealed
False Person for the Kipper (because it represents something being hidden or masked)
What Is Being Hidden?
Let’s start with the Kipper.
False Person: Something Is Being Hidden Or Masked.
Covered by
A Wedding: A Deal, Bond, Agreement, or Marriage.
Top Row (The Situation)
Courtship/Meeting: A Meeting, Socialising, Courting, Getting Onside
Mature Woman/Good Lady: An Older Woman
Child: A Younger or Junior Person, Youthfulness
Bottom Row (The Likely Outcome)
Unexpected Income: A Small Amount Of Money, Payment
Gift: Gift, Present, Donation
High Honour: Reward, Recognition, Prize, High Office
So here we have the suggestion that what is being hidden is a deal or arrangement that’s been made (False Person, Wedding), a “bond”, promise or contract.
What more can we find out about it? Well, if we look at the top row, it seems this arrangement is one between people, there has been some “courting” of someone (Courtship), perhaps indicating an attempt to get someone onside, and that it involves an older or senior woman (Mature Woman/Good Lady) and a Child, who could be a literal child, or could simply be someone younger or more junior than her. Reading the top three cards together, we get a younger or junior person courting or meeting with an older or more senior woman (Courtship-Child around Mature Woman).
Looking at the bottom row, we can see the outcome of that, whether it’s something that will happen or has already resulted, is that there’s some kind of payment involved (a bribe, maybe?) as represented by Unexpected Income. The Gift card shows the money being gifted or donated, and the High Honours shows a reward or recognition of some kind, that could include high office, promotion and so on. Put together, all three of these cards suggest that a reward of money and perhaps position has been given (Unexpected Income-High Honours, Gift).
We can also connect the top and bottom rows for more detail. To start with the diagonals, around this hidden or secret deal or arrangement, we can see that there’s a kind of “courtship”, the development of a relationship that gains reward or honours (Courtship-High Honours, False Person/Marriage), and in the other direction, that a junior or younger person gets money as a result of this secret agreement (Child-Unexpected Income, False Person/Marriage).
From the verticals, we see a relationship or “courtship” developing for money (Courtship, Unexpected Income), that it involves an older or senior woman making a secret agreement to “gift” something (Mature Woman, False Person/Marriage, Gift) and that the younger or junior person is rewarded in some way, perhaps with higher position or promotion (Child-High Honours).
All together then, the cards suggest that what’s being hidden from the UK public is a secret arrangement or deal made, after a “courtship” period of relationship-building, between someone younger or junior and an older or senior woman, where she’s “gifted” them money and perhaps position as a reward.
Not sure who this is, especially as the secret’s “hidden”. The late Queen and Prince Andrew or someone else? (After all, we already all know about Prince Andrew, favouritism and payoffs - but do we know everything?). The senior woman and junior could also be politicians or public figures, so it sounds like a deal behind the scenes that we do not yet know of. (As it’s the UK, I can’t see that this would be the Ursula von der Leyen/Pfizer thing either.) Let’s see!
What Will Be Revealed?
Now let’s look at the second reading and see what it reveals, and if there’s anything similar to or relating to the first.
Important Revelation: What Is Discovered Or Revealed, Information Not Previously Known
Covered by
A Lot Of Money: A Lot Of Money! Wealth, or a Big Payment.
Top Row (The Situation)
Lawyer: Legal Matters, Rules & Regulations, Official
Love: Love, Passion, Romance, Adoration
Flatterer: A Flatterer, Compliments, Sucking Up
Bottom Row (The Likely Outcome)
Faithfulness, Affection: Support, Loyalty, Attachment
Tenderness: Comfort and Love, Particularly From A Mother Figure
Trip To The Country: A Small Surprise, A Getaway, A Little Money
So the suggestion here is that what’ll be revealed, the secret is about money, and probably quite a lot of money (Important Revelation, A Lot Of Money).
What is sitting above it to give us more detail? Well, it’s connected with rules and regulations and those who make or enforce them (Lawyer), it’s connected with Love, and with a Flatterer, or someone sucking up. Reading those three all together, we get flattery or sucking up connected to the rules and regulations or by a lawmaker, because of love (Lawyer-Flatterer, Love). I must admit this has an element of former Health Minister Matt Hancock in the jungle (see my previous reading about A Frivolous Imprisonment) being quizzed about his non-adherence to the Covid rules he himself set (“but I fell in love”) but that feels quite separate from the first reading and isn’t really a secret since it’s out there now, so we’ll see.
At the bottom, we see the outcome of this secret money, whether it’s already happened or not. It involves loyalty and affection (Faithfulness & Affection), a sense of being comforted or loved, often by a mother figure (Tenderness) and a Trip To The Country, which can involve getting away from things, but crucially, getting a little money, a nice surprise. The cards combined show either a surprise small payment or getting away from things for loyalty, and what looks like a kind of indulgence from a mother or senior figure (Tenderness). Again, it does fit with Hancock, who was hugged by two of his female campmates in a “motherly” sort of way. But that’s just one possible situation.
Diagonally, we can see the rules and regulations being “got away from” or a small surprise payment around the revelations of a much bigger sum (Lawyer-Trip To the Country, Important Revelation re: A Lot Of Money). In the other direction, we can see the Flatterer expressing loyalty and support around that revelation (Flatterer-Faithfulness & Affection, Important Revelation re A Lot Of Money).
Vertically, we have the Lawyer being Loyal & Affectionate, we have Love and a kind of maternal indulgence over a Revelation regarding a Lot of Money, and we have a flatterer getting a nice surprise or small amount of money and getting away from things, stepping back a bit.
All together then, this set of cards suggest that what’s being or been hidden from the UK public is to do with a lot of money, likely to do with love and being indulged, possibly maternally, and flattery or obsequiousness to do with an official person or rule-maker, who’s been able to get away from it all, or been given a nice surprise.
Now, these COULD, as I say, be entirely separate readings and situations. I don’t think the first really fits with Hancock, but the second does.
However, there do seem to be links, especially around the “maternal indulgence” stuff, which seems quite similar between the first and second. Also the gifting of money.
So what answer about the secret might we get if we blended the two readings here?
Let’s see.
The Readings Combined
Important Revelation/False Person What Is Discovered Or Revealed, Information Not Previously Known And Is Being Hidden
Covered by
A Lot Of Money/Wedding: A deal or agreement about a lot of money, a financial arrangement, contract or deal.
Top Row (The Situation)
Lawyer/Courtship Courting Officials, Building A Relationship With Lawmakers
Love/Mature Woman: The Love Of An Older Woman
Flatterer/Child: A Younger Person Or Junior Individual Sucking Up
Bottom Row (The Likely Outcome)
Faithfulness, Affection/Unexpected Income: Support, Loyalty, Attachment And A Little Money For Doing So? (a bribe, perhaps?)
Tenderness/Gift: Comfort and Love, Particularly From A Mother Figure, Given A Gift Or Indulged With Presents As A Sign Of That?
Trip To The Country/High Honour: A Small Surprise, A Getaway, A Little Money, Reward, Recognition, High Office.
There are SO many things this could be, both in royalty and politics for the UK. One thing that strikes me though is I KNOW (it’s out there in some newspapers and books, but a lot of the public won’t if they haven’t seen it) that there have been “deals” done re: the Royals’ finances that have been quite underhanded, even by the Queen, and involved rewriting the rules the monarch had to sign off in order to benefit themselves and the whole family, and it’s always seemed likely that this was going to come out in a big way at some point and cause issues for them. Who this particular “flatterer” is though, being indulged by his mother, could be any of them, even the now-King, who has benefitted quite substantially materially, as I understand it (and don’t forget my Grand Tableau Kipper reading about Charles and the Queens death and aftermath which talked a lot too about royal money and underhandedness), but it does reek of Andrew, and even Harry too. Let’s see.
So this would show the revelation’s about something previously hidden from the UK public, that is to do with a deal or arrangement for big money. A junior or younger person’s been sucking up, building a relationship with those who make the rules and seeking to gain or use the love of an older or senior woman to do so. This could result in bribes for loyalty, including the chance to get away while retaining or gaining rewards or high position, that are or have been gifted as a result of the senior woman’s indulgence. Courting officials and those that make the rules brings big money rewards, flattery does too, especially for showing loyalty
