Kipper Cards: Directional & Connector Cards I

The first of two posts exploring the main directional and connector cards in the Kipper deck

Now, as you’re probably aware, Kipper is a storytelling oracle system. And as mentioned previously, the directional illustrations in many of the cards in the classic Kipper decks are an instrinsic part of telling the stories that the cards want to tell you!

As such, if you do have one of the classic decks, using the directionals, along with “connector” cards. can add useful detail and nuance to your readings; what is leading to where, who is connected to who and in what manner for example, as we saw with our Change card the other day. Just take a look at this GT we did for Harry over a year ago, for example! We have people depicted facing certain ways, roads and direction of travel, clues and hints, and other cards which show two people or parties connecting and engaging in some way.
