Friday: "House" Foundations Rocked Bringing Disappointment & Sadness Over Enemy Loyalty
Friday March 3rd 2023
So to finish the week, we have a simple 5-card with the Vera Sibilla deck. A bit of a people-related one, this, and with an Enemy thrown in.

The Reading
At the centre, then we have a domestic issue or lack of foundation, perhaps a certainty has been turned on its head (House R), seemingly by an enemy, perhaps a surprising one, which has led to disappointment or feelings of abandonment (Enemy-Hope R). A distinct lack of happiness or discomfort at someone’s loyalties (Faithfulness-Joyfulness R).
An enemy’s loyalties, or a surprise enemy’s loyalties (Faithfulness, Enemy) either in a broken domestic or family situation or in a way which just rocks or upends certainties in some way (Enemy, House R), leading to a sense of disappointment and abandonment over it (House R-Hope R) as well as displeasure and discomfort (Joyfulness R).
Certainly, in the UK right now there are two major stories this could relate to. One, the obvious literal domestic Royal saga of the Sussexes being ousted from Frogmore ‘Cottage’ and the equally unhappy Andrew supposedly being installed there instead.
The other is the headlining “foundation-shaking” outrage over civil servant Sue Gray (she of the Partygate report into covid rule-breaking among the government) now agreeing to work as Chief of Staff for Labour, bringing, say the Tories, her impartiality into disrepute.
Domestic foundations rocked or certainties upended at displeasing loyalties and disappointment over an enemy. Enemy loyalties upend certainties in some way, bringing feelings of disappointment, abandonment and certain displeasure.
