Apologies, a little later than usual today; I’ve been having some technical issues uploading images.
But now back to today’s reading!
Can you use decks which AREN’T Sibillas in “Gossip” layouts?
Why, of course you can!
Today, I’m using the classic German Kipperkarten deck by Hildegard Leiding.
Now, the Gossip Spread (or as I call it “What’s The Goss?” or the Lowdown Spread) is a useful one whenever you want to a) find out what some gossip IS or what’s being said, usually about yourself or b) to explore the truth of some ‘out there’ gossip where there are different perspectives or “sides”. So it’s quite a fun one to use. It’s my expanded version of one of the spreads suggested with the Sibylle des Salons, but you can use it with ANY deck.
Here’s how to lay and read it:
And here’s how the cards fell today. I wasn’t asking about anything in particular, so it’s an “open” one. But quite interesting, as you’ll see.
The Cards (in English)
Change, Rich Young Man. Long Road; Meeting, Short Illness, Expectation; Room, Judication, Work; House, Child, Murky Thoughts; Gift, Letter, Big Fortune; Marital Status, Success In Love, Rich Girl
But what does it all mean? What’s the goss?
Let’s find out!
