Friday: A Man, A Senior Woman, End Of A House Arrangement. Work Conditions, Plus Love Life & Private Rewards
Friday June 2nd 2023
To end the week, and what I’m pretty sure is the same situation the cards (and the UK tabloids) have been talking about all week (This Morning, Philip Schofield, Holly Willoughby and a junior member of staff), we have not one, but two seven-card Kipper readings, one with the Fin de Siecle deck, and one with the Salish Kipper.
Since directional meanings have an impact on how you read each deck, if you want to test your understanding of these in more detail, check out the practice posts below (it’s a good way of learning the card meanings too!)
Both of these were “Line of 7” layouts. The cards for the Fin de Siecle fell as follows, using the Main Male as Schofield and the keycard for news about him:
(And don’t forget, you can access the detailed Kipper Card meanings pages through the index below:)
The Cards
High Honour, Toil & Labour, Short Illness (Bad Health), Main Male, Marriage, House, Death/Coffin.
The Reading
There’s been an an ending in the House, and a deal or arrangement connecting this man to a particular home, organisation or environment. Ahead there’ll be news of unhealthiness with regard to the work conditions involved for those considered the lower orders in gaining recognition, respect and rewards, or in an environment where there are senior or well-regarded people. Reading the cards around him would suggest an end to high status or reward, work conditions in the “House” involved and arrangements or deals which were unhealthy.
Meanwhile, the second “Line of 7”, with the Salish cards, fell as follows, also using the Main Male as a keycard for news about him.
The Cards
Good Lady/Mature Woman, Meeting, Journey, Main Male, Success in Love, House, Living Room.
The Reading
Here, in the past of the Main Male, we have a senior or older woman (yes, I know the image on the card looks like a blonde haired young girl, but it’s the Mature Woman card), and a meeting or gathering set-up with other people from which she’s moving on elsewhere or has been making progress. Ahead for the man is news of his friends, love life and allies in the House, and what’s going on more privately, behind closed doors. His private life connected with this older or senior woman, the meetings or coming together of people within the “house”, romance, friendship and support with regard to both trips and making progress.
So note the House appears in both readings (in the same position, although one is ahead of the main man, one is behind). ITV, the TV “home” of the show concerned, and issues of unhealthy working environments, perhaps, as well as private or intimate matters coming up?
Meanwhile, if we were to read the two rows side by side and pair the cards in their directional positions, we’d get an ending for an older or senior woman (Coffin, Good Lady), an environment where meetings and interactions took place (House, Meeting), a deal or arrangement regard travel, movement or progress (Marriage, Journey), an unhealthy romantic situation (Bad Health, Success In Love), working conditions for the lowlier in the environment (Toil & Labour, House) and rewards, recognition or seniority privately (High Honour, Living Room).
Which pretty much tallies with what seems to be coming out publicly on this story. The senior or older woman? Not sure, but the head of ITV, Carolyn McCall, is due to be questioned by a Parliamentary Select Committee on the issues involved. The senior lawyer who has been instructed to investigate and interview all of interest involved is also female.
Summary Of Both Readings
An ending comes for a particular “house” or working environment and its arrangements for this particular man, with unhealthy work environments particularly for those considered the lower orders and high honours and rewards for others. A senior or older woman has met with others and progress or a move has been made, but ahead for the man is more on his love life within this environment regarding the private or more intimate side of things. There could be an ending, too, for a senior woman, the cards show an environment where meetings and interactions happened, there’s a deal or arrangement regarding travel or progression, a very unhealthy romantic situation and issues around working conditions in this particular environment, as well as potential private rewards or benefits.
