Four Quick Coronation Readings: Judgement Falls, Hidden Enemies, Change or Transformation
Saturday 6th May 2023
Something a bit different for today, as it’s the (somewhat damp squibby, imo) Coronation of Charles & Camilla later on here in the UK, so I thought I’d do some quick 3-card readings with different decks for that, to see what came up.
As a reminder, here are my two previous Coronation readings, both with the Piatnik Traditional Gypsy Fortune Telling deck:
Meanwhile, this was an old Kipper Grand Tableau reading about Charles from the time of his mother’s death in September last year:
Again, it’s not looking terribly auspicious, I must say, (the repetition concerns me), although it may just be me picking up on the many negative vibes about it from elsewhere. Anyway, here you go, these are the cards I drew on it for today.
First up, we have the Kipper (Ciro Marchetti’s Fin de Siecle deck):
Mature Man/Good Lord: An older or senior male figure
Judication: A judgement or decision is made, professional advice
Change: A change occurs, transformation
A judgement or culmination of a process for an older, senior man, bringing change and transformation.
Next up, it’s the Sibylle des Salons/Indovina version:
Enemy, Delay, A Lot Of Money
At its most literal, a hidden enemy, or one lying in wait brings a costly delay. Or a wealth or money-related enemy holds things up and causes problems.
You can learn more about this deck and get individual card meanings here:
Now, we’ve got the following from the Gilded Reverie Lenormand:
Bridge: Route from A to B, a connection or link, a literal bridge
Book: Something hidden or secret; a discovery or knowledge; literal book
Man: A key man in the situation
A secret, discovery, or knowledge. Something hidden by or for a man en route. More metaphorically, the idea of transformation again, moving from one state to another with knowledge or secret information (or perhaps a Bible) for the man concerned.
And finally, we have the Vera Sibilla. Sadly, an enemy is showing up here too…
Enemy, Pleasure Seekers, Surprise
An enemy who is high or drunk on something brings a surprise. A sense of delirium or even madness from a surprise enemy.
So putting it all together, including two of the older readings, the message for today and Charles’s Coronation is:
A judgement or culmination of a process for an older, senior man, bringing change and transformation, while a hidden enemy, or one lying in wait brings a costly delay. There is perhaps a secret, a discovery, or knowledge involved. Something may be hidden by or for a man en route. More metaphorically, there is a sense of transformation again, moving from one state to another with knowledge or secret information (or perhaps a Bible) for the man concerned. But an enemy who is high or drunk on something, mad or delirious, brings a surprise.
The news this week is of the ceremony involving religion and committing to God, but will also bring a woman in mourning for a loss. This could be about loss in the spiritual sense, and she may be unhappy about how the ceremony has been planned or delivered. There’ll be news of a judgement being made about this ceremony and something being lost or stolen. And the older man concerned has previously been judged by the Church and religion or made a decision here, but now is making a promise to God. Ahead, however, there will be a woman in mourning for a theft, something taken away, the loss of something of value.
The ceremony promising fidelity is undermined by an enemy or opposing force. It has been a religious faith ceremony, but the constancy and tradition has long been undermined by periods of destructiveness. Ahead, we see a woman mourning the loss of something, and the house, structure or institution as a whole being judged.
So not good energy here at all, I’m afraid. In many ways, I hope I’m wrong.
Update: Well, aside from the rain, and a degree of glumness apparent, it seems to have gone off without a hitch so far, pretty much, so definitely not the doom and gloom predicted…
