Coming Up In July: A Grand Tableau With The Kipper Cards

So! The time seems ripe to take another look at the Kipper cards, this time to compare and contrast their Grand Tableau (“Large Map” or Big Picture) with that of the Lenormand, as we were exploring last week. And, of course, look at the month of July ahead.
To do this, we’re using the German Original Wahrsage Kipperkarten, which came out as below.

As for our Grand Tableau itself, there is a LOT more we could say, but I’ll just cover the main things for now.
Main Male
The main man here in our reading has Prison on his mind - he may even be in prison himself, or feeling trapped in some way. There appears to be some kind of attracting and meeting of people going on, perhaps schmoozing (Meeting) and he’s involved with someone young, or a child (Little Child). But it’s likely that he has Despair coming up for him.
This could be someone who is feeling trapped and negative regarding his dealings with others right now (Prison, Murky Thoughts, Meetings). Just about nothing seems to be going right for him with anyone (Meetings, Sad News, Despair) so it looks as though he’s getting fed up with it. He’s trapped with an older woman and her “babies” or schemes, or someone younger (Prison, Good Lady, Child) and those are making his working life pretty awful, it seems (Child, Work, Despair).

If we read across either side of him, we get meetings with a child, youth or over a new project (Meeting, Main Male, Little Child) perhaps that he feels he’s surrounded by children. But on his mind is some kind of entrapment through an older or senior woman and negativity there (Murky Thoughts, Prison, Good Lady). Negative meetings or dealings with others keep bringing upsets (Murky Thoughts, Meeting, Sad News), he feels locked into despair (Prison, Main Male, Despair) and it’s something to do with an older or senior woman, her “child” and work (Good Lady, Little Child, Work).
If we read the rows and diagonals around him, we get this Prison, the sense of being entrapped, the despair coming from it and what it brings to a businessman or moneymaker (Prison, Main Male, Despair, Rich Man). Main Female
So the Main Female here (so probably NOT the older or senior woman mentioned earlier) is waiting for something to do with a child, young people or a project (Child, Expectation). She has work on the one side of her and love and support on the other (Work, Success in Love) and she brings a Gift of some kind into the situation.
The “child” she’s waiting for is connected with the job she does (Expectation, Child, Work), which appears to be something to do with gifts she has the power to authorise or a job she is given by someone senior like the main man (Work, Military Person, Gift). She is waiting for big luck, for love and support (Expectation, Fortune, Success in Love) and that sees t come through the organisation or legal process of getting a gift or being given something (Success in Love, Court House, Gift). So she may be granted something officially.
So we have work she does that brings her love and support (Work, Main Female, Success in Love), and she’s waiting for something or someone new or younger that will pour luck on her (Child, Expectation, Fortune). There will be some kind of gift that is given to or by her officially and through a legal process (Military Person, Gift, Court House).
Looking at the verticals and diagonals around her, we have a change that she is waiting for apparently involving an older woman and a long road (Change, with Good Lady and Long Road around it, Expectation) and that she will be given something (Gift).
Diagonally, she is trapped ‘small’, it seems (Prison, Child) but will be able to move a legal process along (Main Female, Court House). Even just a little money will bring her luck and good fortune involving authority figures or in the eyes of those who enforce the law (Unexpected Income, Fortune, Main Female, Military Person).
Her opposite number in the spread is the Main Male, so they could have a close relationship. She is knighted by him and a rich man or moneymaker (Main Male, Rich Man) something that takes a long time with an older woman (Good Lady, Long Road) and something being stolen from, it seems, an older man but in a way that’s beneficial for her due to an illness (Thief, with Good Gentleman and Fortune around it, Short Illness)

Not everyone follows this method, but it’s one I picked up from Hildegard Leiding, the designer of this “original ” version of the classic Lenormand deck. In it, you pair mirrored opposites from across the grid. So here, we have:
A journey or trip for a young woman (Journey, Rich Girl) but sickness in the household or domestic set-up (House, Short Illness), and worries or negativity over legal processes for things (Murky Thoughts, Court House). A gift is locked up or limited right now (Prison, Gift) by an older woman’s authority (Good Lady, Military Person). There are changes for a moneymaker or businessman (Change, Rich Man) but it will take a long time to see the rewards (Long Road, High Honours). Some money arriving unexpectedly brings hope and ambition (Unexpected Income, Hope, Big Water), and bigger amounts of money and how to make it are advised upon (Win Lots of Money, Court Person/Judication).
There’s also some kind of agreement or bond connected with a death or ending (Marriage Status, Coffin) although the details are very much private and hidden behind closed doors (Room, False Person). There are meetings going on with supporters and those who love, perhaps even romantic assignations (Meeting, Success in Love) involving this man and this woman (Main Male, Main Female) and there’s work with younger people or involving a child or something new (Child, Work). The expectation is one of despair and disaster (Expectation, Despair), but even if the news is bad, good luck will come out of it, especially for the woman (Fortune, Sad News).
