Weekly Update: Unhealthy & Fake "Service", Enemies, Ambitions, & Being Out Of Control
Week ending 14th/15th January 2023
The summary of all this week’s daily oracle readings, mostly Royal ones again, I think, and mostly rehashing the same situation. It’s interesting how different decks keep telling the same story, though, isn’t it? With similar cards or concepts appearing from deck to deck, in particular the Service card, a sense of Sickness, and Madness.
So how did I do? Click on the titles if you’re curious to see the full original analysis of each reading.
This Week: Sickness in Service, Ending & Entrapment, A Sweetheart & A Message Of Madness Coming
The spirit of service or a servant gone awry or rogue. Sickness. This connects with a death or ending, a female sweetheart and entrapment, a sense of being locked in. The journey of someone to deliver a message of derangement, or being on their way to full blown insanity, where someone’s getting high or frenzied with what they’re doing. The message of an ending is likely coming, the female lover may be moving on from an unhealthy servant, leaving him trapped in the madness.
Looking back, this is the only one, given Lisa Marie Presley’s sad and sudden death at the end of the week, that COULD relate to that situation as well as the ongoing Royal saga. For me, it’s the death of the “trapped sweetheart” part, the trappings and derangement of grief, although the ‘unwell’ sense of service at the centre wouldn’t really fit. And obviously, my interpretation skewed it towards the royals, with the ‘male servant’ that is implied by the “Domestico/Service” card, in the week that Harry’s book went official in all its ‘glory’ (and perhaps some of its inadvertent “tells” about Harry himself, quite a few of which don’t paint a particularly flattering picture of either himself or his own “sweetheart”, which he appears unaware of, although ‘the other side’ don’t come out particularly well either of course.)
But it just goes to show, you can apply many of these cards to multiple situations (or whichever one the reader may prefer!), which is one of the great difficulties in reading ‘blind’ for news without asking specific questions. It does fit, however, with the idea that comes up again this week, that the “the sweetheart” may be moving away from this situation soon.
Tuesday: A Male Enemy With False Destiny Professing Sorrow And Subservience
Good luck or fortune and destiny isn’t what it seems, bringing a male enemy who seems sad and perhaps contrite and subservient. But the sadness may be fake, with the enemy still at the centre of the reading. Trust no-one, especially displays of sadness or obsequiousness, or those professing their sorrow.
Here, we had our first appearance of the Gypsy Oracle deck or Sibilla Della Zingara, the OTHER and very lovely version of the Vera Sibilla. Again, we have that Service card that keeps cropping up with, just as before, the sense of “service” not being entirely genuine. This could, in some ways, relate to either party in the current Royal feud with “Harold” making his numerous public appearances and “Willy” his first in the UK since the book release saga broke.
Wednesday: A Couple, Big Money, Big Ambitions, Underlying Unhealthiness And Waiting For A Glorious Finale
A man acting in an official capacity or in relation to an official person sees money for a rich young woman by attracting or courting unhealthy situations. Meanwhile, a woman has ambitions and dreams to receive high honours and rewards, and she seems to be thinking about bringing an end to an impasse with a rich young man or a business enterprise. This is well-starred and has luck on its side, but may take some time to come to fruition, possibly a couple of years from now. The man’s focus is his relationship with a rich girl; behind him are his dreams of high honour and a lucky ending. For the woman, behind her, she has an official person or someone in an official person that involves great wealth but also deep unhealthiness. Ahead for her, we see news of a waiting game, and she’s thinking about the message and the time and route needed, planning for how long it might take. The man has been very lucky with his “message” or news about him in the past, but will not be dealing with things in the healthiest ways going forward. The woman has had the role of “rich girl”, but is likely to be bringing this to an end in future.
Overall, it’s all about the money for these two, and she in particular will be thinking big, about high position and great fortune. But it’s underpinned by an unhealthy situation with a privileged young lady and someone in an official position that involves ambitions and news of an ending that’s been coming for a long time, involving a waiting game for a rich young man.
An official person in a high position has been courted in order to gain money and big wealth, but it has involved both biding their time, thinking and planning. Someone, perhaps both, has been waiting for their big moment of glory, but it may take some time to emerge.
So a very long one, this, but that’s how this Kipper Master card reading works out sometimes. This, for me, really seemed to summarise the whole issue, the people involved and the underlying dynamics, particularly how things appear to have been planned, and the sense that the woman, in particular, may be considering moving on now. On the cards front, you can also see how closely the Kipper cards arose out of the older Sibilla and Gypsy Oracle decks and that tradition.
Thursday: Luck & A Hidden or Knowledge Opportunity For A Woman
A woman’s luck or opportunity around a book, a secret, or some information, that she may discover by chance. A hidden opportunity, perhaps, with the knowledge that a woman has gained or the secrets she has uncovered.
Back with Lenormand, and again, I don’t think this is something we can know for sure yet—who knows what’s going on behind the scenes. “The Woman” could be various people involved: it could be Meghan, or it could be a female journalist who uncovers something, which seems even more likely. Who knows?
Friday: "Out of Control" Is The Message, With Friends Distancing Themselves Over The Delayed Rehashing Of Old Spats
Someone appears, at least according to the press, to be losing control and raging. Around them, former friends and allies may be distancing themselves regarding news of old, relatively minor, spats resurfacing after a delay.
Finally, this from the other Sibilla deck, the very different Sibilla Indovina or Parlour Sybil, seems to relate more to other people’s opinions of what is going on with it all. Note that the Angry Woman card has quite a similar meaning to the Vera Sibilla’s Pleasure Seekers, with that sense of delirium and out of controlness. Certainly the response from the usually more sympathetic liberal press, particularly in the US, has been mixed, and we’ve not been getting the great displays of support from the rich and famous supporters, many of whom seemed to be kept their distance, although big media interviewers continue to go along with the original stance. Personally, I think H is a product of the whole dysfunctional system, which reflects badly on them all; he’s not exactly covering himself in glory as an individual either, so am not sure why we are expected to ‘side’ entirely with one or the other. Family sagas are always such a mess, and the Royals’ (and other famous families’) sagas on the public stage always seem to be almost Shakespearian in their dramatics - and the sadness of their often fated-seeming repetitions.
Anyway. Have a lovely weekend, and see you again on Monday!
Good job!
