Weekly Roundup: Secrets & Lies, Talk Of New Start After Losses, Enemies, Healing
Update for the week ending 20th November '22
Just to let you know, I’ll be doing my weekly roundups on Saturdays in future, leaving Sundays as a day of rest from emails for us all! So daily Monday to Friday, weekly roundups on a Saturday. This, then, will be the last Sunday update from me.
So let’s take a look at what came up in my news readings this week. Click on the post titles or summaries to see the full analysis of the reading. And don’t forget, if you’d like me to draw cards on a particular big situation in the news that might interest us all, do let me know in the comments!
Monday: What Is Being Hidden Or Kept From The UK Public?
Here, I continued exploring the “secret” that the previous week’s Russian Gypsy Oracle cards had suggested was being hidden from the UK public. I used the Fin de Siecle Kipper Cards and the Vera Indovina/Parlour Sybil cards.
My first set of cards:
I don’t believe this has yet been revealed, so think who and what exactly this is about is still to come. My gut feeling is it has a Royal connection.
Tuesday: Talk Of Change, A New Start After Losses
A speech or discussion on the need for a fresh start or change after losses, diminishment and worry.
The UK news this week was dominated by conversation about the impending Autumn Statement later in the week from the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt, and how he was going to attempt to “make a new start” financially after all the losses and diminishment to the country of the pandemic, the current cost of living crisis and the general sense of poverty, erosion and loss.
Wednesday: News Of Healing Or Resolution Regarding An Enemy
News of an enemy and healing or advice on finding a resolution.
Although this could also obviously be to do with the impending health workers’ strikes in the UK, I think this was more to do with the G20 summit, which was held this week in Bali. There was a strong coming together of pretty much all nations against Russia’s actions in Ukraine and much discussion going on behind the scenes.
Thursday: A Senior, Official Man With A Yearning For Love Is Limited In How Much Money He Can Give
I did originally discount Jeremy Hunt because of the “longing for love” thing (or the lower-key waiting for support, I guess), but unless there was something we didn’t know about with King Charles this week (the news there was about expanding his pool of Counsellors of State to avoid having to call on Harry or Andrew in his absence), or this is a more international story, Hunt’s “limited in how much money he can give” on the day of the UK budget seemed to be pretty much what this was about. In some ways, it wasn’t as bad as feared, although Hunt did catch flak for laying all the blame for the UK’s financial situation on factors outside the Tory party’s management over the last 12 years which isn’t strictly true, now Jeremy, is it?
Friday: Info On Difficult Talks Around Public Health And Money
In this reading, I took a look at the Celtic Lenormand deck. Again, following the theme, UK news-wise, a lot of this appeared to be about public money, the health service and ongoing negotiations.
So that’s it for this week. As I said, do let me know in the comments if there are any particular news/current affairs issues/situations that’d be of interest to readers of the Daily Oracle that you’d like me to explore through oracle card readings. I am currently very UK-centric as I’m obviously in the UK, but I’m interested in variety both in terms of decks and oracle card systems and in terms of the stories themselves.
So until tomorrow! Do enjoy the rest of your weekend.
