Weekly Roundup: Positive Spins On Tenderness Traps, While Unhealthiness Celebrates, Enemies Gather, & The Best Thing Is To Stay Out Of Drama
Week Ending December 10/11th 2022
So how did my news readings do this week? Here’s a summary of them. Click on the titles to find the specific card interpretations and my full original daily analysis of each layout.
Monday: Man’s Lies Whitewashed, Key To Successfully Pacifying The Public
Now, I had assumed this was about a political situation (and let’s face it, there are always plenty to choose from) but given the rest of the week, I’d guess this fits into what has been dubbed by some here in the UK “The Only Way Is Sussex” dramas—or, if most reviewers are to be believed, damp squibs— too. If that’s the case then the Incense Burner here involves just as much about “spin” and whitewashing as any bigger political situation. A man’s “betrayal” and lies having been talked about, a whitewashing or positive spin on an ending, I do think the Incense Burner and Lilies together really suggests purification as well, a sort of whitewashing in public, as well as hints of an older crowd, even family members, with the Garden beneath it. The man certainly sees what he’s doing as a victory; whether the public and others will in the long run has yet to be seen, and past untruths do have a funny way of keeping coming out…
So I think my interpretation was situationally off, but the analysis stands and fits the description of the Sussexes this week, Harry in particular, quite well, I think. And it’s a useful reminder with regard to Lenormand in particular, that those cards work best when you know exactly what situation you’re applying their essences to.
Tuesday: An Attention-Seeking Woman's Tenderness Trap
Same situation, and I think this was fairly accurate, certainly in terms of the “dirty game” being invoked. As well as lots of harking back to images of Diana, the original blonde woman whose situation, in all fairness, was VERY different to what is going on in the lives of those who may wish to invoke her memory for their own gain. But the cards do tell the story in some ways of that original sad situation too, as it applies in particular to her son.
Joy In Unhealthiness, With News of Treasures Gained, And Enemies Gathering To Serve
Again, someone feels they’ve won and scored a victory, and you do get that odd sense of schadenfreude with the cards in the middle; either a victory over disfunction, or gleefully celebrating it.
My feeling now, though, about the final three cards is more that “people” are talking about the relationship in terms what they see as “a female enemy and her servant”. The other observation I’d make is that the UK press. so those in charge of news (Letter) were clearly very primed with “outrage” stories about the whole documentary the day after its release, despite also simultaneously and pretty much universally telling their readers how boring and largely unrevelatory it was while their correspondents actually finally watched. The two things seemed rather odds to me (perhaps it would’ve been better to have more of a shrugging “Was That It?” vibe than every headline declaring outrage, or just putting it way down the list of priorities under much more important news), suggesting that the powers that be in the background were already well primed in advance by the Palace to ‘serve’ in what they wrote its defence. The reaction itself may have just served to stir up more drama.
Man Who's Met With Love Looks For Lucky Ending In Time, While Big Picture Shows An Official Making Changes
Again, same situation, and similar to the sense of “victory” felt by the man who’s found love. In the long run, though, who knows. Changes are likely afoot. Some significant family members, if insiders are to be believed, are far less outwardly forgiving than the man’s late grandmother. We will see.
Coming Up For The Royals: Not Getting Caught Up In Others' Nets Proves Best Policy, Where Dull & Drama-Free Is Good
I’d asked what else was coming up with the royals overall. So there we have it, our final summary of the week from the ever-blunt Russian Gypsy Oracle cards. And pretty much ties it up.
So until next week, then! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
