Weekly Roundup: Persistent Affair Rumours, Start of Trump Trial & Gossip
Week ending 27th/28th April 2024
Looks like some of you didn’t get the preview for yesterday’s reading. Here it is again if you missed it. A gossip reading, again. It could be about Trump yet again, but it also could be the former rumours about William, as it seems to involve a woman who sounds very like Kate.
Friday: What's The Goss? Talk Of A Man: Authoritative PR or Murky Lies?
Layouts used this week include the traditional Cross spread, your classic 9-card Kipper reading, the Draw of Gossip. Check out how to read those here:
So what HAS happened this week aside from the usual doom, gloom and warmongering? Well, Trump’s hush money trial has started. Plus, in major shock news, one of Weinstein’s main rape convictions has been quashed and a retrial is on the way. Meanwhile, on the lighter side of things, Aussie actress Rebel Wilson made a claim about supposedly salacious Royal invitations to drum up interest in her memoir and Sacha BC managed to get her accusations about him blacked out inside her book (which seemed all a bit last century morality censorship, but what do I know? I guess the books were too costly to pulp, which doesn’t bode well for her expected sales). Here in the UK, the big news is that in Scotland, First Minister Humza Yousaf is teetering on the brink after the Greens who were in coalition with the ruling SNP flounced off (probably best, but not for him personally) leaving him with a minority government just before a UK General Election. The Royals gave themselves some fancy new titles, the reaction to “Meghan’s Montecito Jam” and attempted Highgrove ripoff has been pretty “meh”, but Charles is apparently on the mend. Oh, and there was a very bizarre and quite disturbing incident with some escaped Royal horses in central London.
But have there been rumours of an affair?
Outside of Trump (what’s new?) and previous highly disputed rumours about Wills, no, not really. So I think at least one of these is still to come.
These were the reading summaries for the week.
This Week: Surprising Affair Rumours? A Trap For An Older Man, But Sweet-Talking Won't Do The Trick
So overall then, it looks like a situation involves possibly three women and one man! Or perhaps two women, one becoming enraged. There’s a main female figure, and either another cast as the “angry” one, or our main woman gets very angry indeed. The fury is being spat in the direction of a female friend of a main man, and the cards suggest there’ll be news about that. Perhaps we’ll see a woman siding with him, perhaps someone suspected of being a love interest. So this reading appears to be about a couple, a main man and main woman, between whom there is news of a furious woman and a sincere female friend. This suggests to me that there’ll be rumours of affairs surfacing at least, whether true or no, this week.
There’s a suggestion there’s been some demonstration of affection going on with two parties coming together again and a risk or gamble involved which has shocked others. So it appears that what’s been going on could be seen as a revival of some kind of romance, perhaps, that people have been surprised to hear about, given how risky it would appear. Ahead, though, we have a slowing-down or delays involving someone in authority or officials, perhaps the police or law enforcement, an older, wealthy man and a trap or limitation. Delays will bring restrictions involving an older, wealthy man and officials - or maybe he’s asking officials to hold off for some reason.
Challenge-wise, the cards suggest a loss or theft through inconsistency, flitting or poor attention to detail, and it appears that any sense or attempt at sweetness perhaps someone trying to sweet-talk through it is going to be met with a VERY nasty shock indeed. A final loss or reckoning is on the cards, way despite a possible attempt to sweet-talk to brush over inconstancy and flakiness.
At the end of the day, though, someone is having fun and taking it easy; the problem is, their idea of fun costs a lot of money or they’re throwing it away. They have thoughts of success, that they’ll be successful anyway. Someone rewarding themselves with fun and pleasure is thinking they’re going to get a lot of money to pay for it all. Cart before the horse, maybe.
I don’t think we’ve seen this yet. This suggests affair accusations by someone who wasn’t expecting it, and that it’s seen as a gamble. It could be referring (in the past) to Trump, but I don’t think it fits really. This is something else, and it hasn’t come up yet this week as far as I can see.
Let’s take a look at the rest of the week.
