Weekly Roundup: Behind-The-Scenes Domestic Machinations, Final Judgement, A Deal & Questions Of Loyalty
Week ending 4th/5th March 2023
So we had the “House” (neighbourhood, family, locale) turning up in three readings this week, once relating to an ending, one to falseness, one to the upturning of something that had once been a foundation.
As an aside, news-wise, it strikes me that there do seem to be common themes around at the moment; big foundation-shaking reveals and leaks of what’s been “really” going on behind the scenes seem unstoppable, whether it’s Fox News and elections, Royal familial feuds and PR campaigns, or the release of every one of ex UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock’s WhatsApp texts to and about colleagues and the public during Covid lockdowns in full to the press this week. Meanwhile, in the US, we saw the conviction of former powerful bastion of the community Alex Murdaugh for the brutal murders of his wife and son. Dark forces under the surface indeed, and a reminder that nobody, no matter how powerful they become, gets to be immune. Truth always seems to out in the end.
This Week: A Man, A Woman, A Final Judgement That Upsets Him But That She's Been Working Towards
This week, we have a high status man with an older woman behind him and bad news ahead. He's been getting together or trying to meet with an older or senior woman. He's someone in a high position, and wealthy or money-generating, but is likely to be disappointed by a ruling or judgement, a resounding no and the door slammed firmly shut ahead of him.
Meanwhile, we also have a woman playing a role, perhaps very successfully hiding her strategy or plan, or people plotting behind the scenes and displaying a persona of some kind, which may well involve the appearance or hard work and industry locally or with those close to her. Ahead for her is the ruling, the final judgement also, but it may be something she's actively working towards. She has big luck behind her, particularly with regard to the role or persona she plays.
She is looking towards an ending with regard to home or a family, after which she’s looking to mix in the higher echelons. He, on the other hand, will be upset and faced with someone whose falsehood may be revealed. It looks as though she will do far better out of it than he will.
This definitely showed two ‘sides’ moving against each other and a final denouement. Quite a lot of it about as it turned out this week, what with the leak of ALL the Matt Hancock covid texts by his former ally Isabel Oakenshott to the press, Johnson’s Partygate rows and judgements in the committee investigating continuing (and Sue Gray’s sudden Labour allegiance), Murdaugh’s conviction (although I don’t think this relates to the above), and, as ever, all the usual, and this week literal, Royal domestic machinations.
There was certainly a woman working deliberately and strategically behind the scenes here and a man looking for high honours who’d be saddened by the result and confronted with the betrayal. My money’s on the Oakenshott situation but there are big hints of the Royals too, especially given what happened later in the week.
(might just be worth a reminder about this from Feb 8th, however: The Reveal Of A Big Official Secret, Subterfuge & A Woman Working Behind The Scenes)
Tuesday: Female Enemies Moving On, Fake Tears Or Sorrow For Money
Someone, perhaps two rivals, a rather bitter older woman close to home and another female enemy, feels it’s time to move on for the sake of business or moneymaking. There may be a show of sorrow over this that is entirely fake, but at root, it’s likely that it’s mainly about the benefits for financial reasons. That said, any appearance of wealth and financial security at home may well also be a veneer. Money can be made over expressions of sadness, and moneymaking and the securing of assets is entirely the name of the game here.
I don’t think there’s anything clear about the identities of the people in this one as yet, particularly around the “show of sorrow”. So jury’s out for me on this
Wednesday: End To A Defensive Standoff, With Lucky Routes For Business, And A Brand New Start Around A Deal
A powerful standoff comes to an end, or perhaps an ending is brought about by force. Lucky opportunities and roads for business and cash, especially, and a brand new start and changes being promised by a deal. The beginning of a new road? Let’s see.
The big public deal this week in the UK was the Northern Ireland “Windsor” protocol, agreed between Rishi Sunak and Ursula Von Leyan of the EU, hailed by many (some exceptions) as a relief and a solution to the longstanding NI standoff. It specifically involves trade routes, and dual “paths” to ease the flow of money and business in the region, and is being treated as a welcome “brand new start”.
Thursday: A Failed Soldier's Unreliability Drags Problems Out & Fails To Bring Him Support
A failed soldier’s inconsistencies and unreliability brings protracted situations and opposition, for which he only has himself to blame.
Several people this could refer to, whether it’s the failure of Putin’s military campaign, or again, the domestic whines of certain family members.
Friday: "House" Foundations Rocked Bringing Disappointment & Sadness Over Enemy Loyalty
Domestic foundations rocked or certainties upended at displeasing loyalties and disappointment over an enemy. Enemy loyalties upend certainties in some way, bringing feelings of disappointment, abandonment and certain displeasure
Literal issues over Charles’s decrees on domestic arrangements for various Royals brought gripes from all concerned (well, Harry and Andrew), and the Sue Gray (Partygate investigator) agreement to now work for Labour bringing questions about loyalty and impartiality.
So that’s it for this week.
