Wednesday: The End Of Benefits For A Loyal Servant Brings Upset At Her Casual Treatment
For today’s reading, we’re back with the Gypsy Oracle (Sibille della Zingara)
The card at the centre of today’s reading is the Gift.
And the rest of the cards fell as follows:
How would YOU interpret these cards, do you think?
(And do check out the following post if you’d like more guidance on how to read groups of three cards:
Combining More Than Two Cards To Make A Story)
The Reading
Centre: The Core of The Reading
The reading centres on the ending, perhaps suddenly, of benefits, luxuries, freebies or gifts for someone.
Top Row: More Detail
Melancholy (R), Servant/Maid, Soldier (R)
Someone, probably female, perhaps an employee, who has done absolutely everything they can to help and serve others, is brought extremely low by a failure of protection or militancy directed at her.
Bottom Row: Outcome or Underlying Factors
Frivolity, Faithfulness, Sorrow (R)
There is much upset at the lightness and superficiality with which a loyal person gets treated
Diagonally, the cards suggest enormous sorrow and sadness at the manner of the ending of benefits or gifts (Melancholy R- Gift/Death - Sorrow R), and that this ending and failure of proper protection is underpinned by a superficial, frivolous approach by someone who should have been behaving with more integrity (Soldier R-Gift/Death-Frivolity).
Vertically, we see great misery over this superficiality or casualness, an ending of benefits for someone who has always been loyal and true, and enormous upset at the treatment and failure to be properly protected.
It sounds very much as though someone, likely a woman, possibly an employee, is going to be thrown under the bus in a big way. But who?
What’s interesting is that the energy of this one seems to me to tie in very much with the very similar vibe (of anything nice or valuable being stripped away) that was coming up in yesterday’s Kipper reading.
Gifts, freebies or benefits are coming to an end. Someone who’s done her level best to help and do her duty appears to be getting thrown under the bus in a failure of protection and general misery. There is a great deal of upset at the frivolous and casual way someone who has remained steadfast and loyal gets treated.
