The Reading
At the centre of today’s reading some news, or the delivery of it (Rider) something upcoming, perhaps, sweeping onto the scene. What’s it all about? A conversational burden, talking through a major issue or a situation of oppression, even talks with the Church (Cross), and public discussion (Birds-Garden) around organisations, governance, officialdom or the establishment (Tower) and burdens.
At the centre, news arrives of a public or shared burden or major test (Cross-Rider-Garden). Power and might should prevail through conversation and talks (Sun—Birds—Bear), but beneath, luck is running out for the establishment, the powers-that-be (Clover-Tower-Mice).
These cards suggest that there has been a recent victory or luck against a major problem or life challenge which has proved a heavy burden at times and has been beset by bad luck (Sun-Cross-Clover). The current situation brings us news of official talks, laws, or decrees being communicated (Birds-Rider-Tower). Ahead there could be a degree of “people power” (Bear-Garden) - but depending on how you look at it, this could either be overcoming a sense of poverty and diminishment, or could see people power further eroded (Bear-Garden-Mice)
Meanwhile, diagonally, we have what looks like good news about losses, so perhaps there is indeed a sense of overcoming (Sun-Rider-Mice) or someone or something riding in to save the day. There’ll be good luck coming with regard to strength and power too (Bear-Rider-Clover).
In terms of successes (Sun), we have both the public or what is shared (Garden) and governance or organisational factors (Tower). The big test or oppression (Cross) comes from strength and power over diminishment, losses and erosion (Bear-Mice). Luck particularly comes from shared or public conversations and discussions (Clover, Birds, Garden), although those conversations may prove nervewracking (Birds, Clover-Mice) and we’d do well to be wary. Meanwhile, there is success in strength and power from the establishment (Tower, Sun-Bear) and it could involve very powerful forces and perhaps even a sense of suppression (Bear, Cross, Tower). That said, there appears to be very good luck indeed for the public collectively or that which is shared (Garden, Sun-Clover) and talk about the erosion or undermining of any oppressive elements.
News arrives of a major conversation about heavy or oppressive governance and the public. A shared and big test arrives, or there a sense of a burden being put on all of us. Power and might will succeed through talks and communication, but beneath, luck may be running out for the establishment or old order. There’s a sense of overcoming losses and erosion by force. There’s been a recent victory over suppression or burdens, and now new rules will be communicated by the establishment. Ahead, the power of people collectively may well overcome diminishment, erosion or losses.
