Wednesday: Penny For Your Thoughts, Elon? Kipper Cards On Musk's (Many) Pronouncements

Since it’s all going mad this week with big news stories all over the place and since the His Thoughts card came up in Monday’s Week Ahead reading, I thought I’d do another reading centred on that issue, regarding the big row going on in UK politics right now and the (unelected both in the US and UK) and extremely loose cannon Elon Musk giving his pronouncements on literally everything, from Keir Starmer’s leadership and when the UK should have elections, who we should vote for, Farage’s leadership (Elon & Nige appear to have fallen out overnight), far right influencer Tommy Robinson, to the UK grooming gangs and more. Whatever’s going through his head at the time, basically.

And annoying pretty much everyone, although many also agree with at least some of what he’s said. But stopped clocks and all that. Still it’s really not a great precedent at all and very inappropriate. Esp. if even Trump and Farage of all people are starting to side-eye you.

So “His Thoughts” seems an appropriate card to explore this current news issue with. The deck we’re using is the Ciro Marchetti Fin de Siecle Kipper deck, which you may remember includes some additional cards, one of which (Community) comes up in this reading, along with some of the classic cards being, somewhat annoyingly, renamed.
