Wednesday: Hunter & Joe. What Now After Guilty Verdict? A Kipper Card Relationship Reading
Wednesday 12th June 2024
In the aftermath of Hunter Biden’s guilty verdict for the first of his two trials this year, (unprecedented in terms’ of Presidents’ children) I thought I’d have a look today at the relationship between Hunter and his father according to the cards.
As a reminder, the previous reading I did on Hunter at the start of the trial last week was here, and it ended in “hard graft” so I’m not surprised at the guilty verdict. Click below if you’d like to read that one again.
The spread I’m using to explore this is the Partnership spread with the Kipper cards (although you can use any deck). It’s one of two main partnership spreads I use to look at the relationship between two people, and it comes from Kipper card creator Hildegard Leiding, who created this traditional version of the deck.
Subscribers can get instructions on how to lay and read the 21-Card Partnership spread here:
And for a shorter version (which is based on a spread suggested in Grimaud’s 2022 updating of their classic Sibylle des Salons) you can try this:
Personally, I prefer the longer spread to the shorter version, mainly because it’s more free-flowing in terms of story and doesn’t contain such restrictive positionals, but that’s just personal preference.
Anyway, here’s today’s layout, using the Good Gentleman card for Biden and Rich Young Man for Hunter. What do you think it’s telling us about the current relationship between President Biden and his son and what is likely to happen?
The Cards
Good Gentleman, Rich Young Man; Marriage Status, Main Male, Military Person; Living Room, Main Female, Child; Long Road, Coffin, Win Lots of Money; Hope Big Water, Journey, False Person; Change, Letter, Sad News; Good Lady, Short Illness, Murky Thoughts; Court House
Let’s take a look at the interpretation.
