Wednesday: How's Charles Doing At This Time? The Vera Sibilla Cards Take A Look!
Wednesday 3rd September 2024
For the next three posts, I’m going to be using the exact SAME layout, but with three different decks and for three different individuals, so you can see it in action, the sort of info it gives you and observe how the deck you use might bring a different “tone” of answers. As a reminder, the different oracle decks all have their own particular type of “tone” - some are more ‘events’ based, while others are more concept-based, and that can impact the type of reading you get and the sorts of details that show up. Remind yourself of some of the differences between decks and systems here:
In the run-up to the Presidential debates we’ll of course be looking at and comparing Trump and Kamala on this. But since we did Keir Starmer only last week in a very similar type of spread (The Crescent), I’ll leave him off for now, so I’m beginning today by doing King Charles instead. He’s not been in the news a great deal of late due to his illness, but just to take a quick look on how he’s doing, for those who’ve been missing Royal Reads.
So! What’s the spread?
It’s called a Life Path Layout, and it’s originally from the guide to the Celtic Lenormand deck. I’ve adapted it slightly this time to include a person significator card, just to make sure we always know to whom we’re referring, and you can of course add an “underlying energy” card if you wish, as those are often helpful. The aim of the spread is to look at a particular individual and explore the “life path” they’re on, the lessons they’re learning, wisdom or guidance they’re being offered and so on. So it’s a positional spread, and generally a nice kind of personal development type one you can use yourself.
Get the details here of how to lay and read it (look, there’s even a short video!):
And below is today’s Life Path layout came out for King Charles. We are using the Italian La Vera Sibilla deck and the Lord card to represent him:
