In this evening’s post, I’m going to take a quick look at four additional techniques you can use to add detail and any “hidden messages” which I’ll apply to the same layout. The techniques are:

  • Counting

  • Mirroring

  • Knighting

  • Reading a path through the Houses.

Again, we’re illustrating it using the exact same GT, but with a different deck. Today I’m using the Ciro Marchetti Gilded Reverie Lenormand (see above, minus any of its additional cards).

Since we have covered a lot of these techniques in posts before,I’m going to give more of a brief overview of each and apply them to our cards rather than repeat in the same detail again, but I will link to those previous posts.

So let’s begin… What additional information will they give us?
