Tuesday: The Gypsy Witch "Long Reading" Gives More On The Trump Situation

Since I was planning to go into our third way of reading 52-card Grand Tableaus this week, now seems an opportune time to introduce yet another version, this time in the “standard” way of reading the full “Gypsy Witch” deck, in what it calls its “Long Reading”.

If you’d like a reminder of the previous two methods I shared for 52 card grids, click to take a look here:

Ways Of Reading 52-Card Grids I

Ways of Reading 52-Card Grids II

And as you’ll see, despite the cards in this deck being very similar to Lenormand, the method here is very different from how you’d read a Lenormand GT, despite the involvement of Near and Far interpretations. For a reminder of the “Gypsy Witch” deck, a turn of the century US derivative of the Lenormand, all the Near & Far meanings, and how these two decks compare, subscribers can click on the button to check out my previous post.

I’ll be going into detail about exactly how to lay and read this spread later in the week—it’s very different from the other GT’s we’ve looked at, although I’m sure we could incorporate some of the same methods— but for now, just know that it ALWAYS centres on whichever Querent you are focusing on, whether the Gentleman or the Lady. Their card is always placed at the centre of the spread, and the cards read around them in squares.

I differ slightly from the original instructions in that I leave the other Querent in the deck, as there’s no reason not to include them, and it messes up the symmetry otherwise.

Anyway! Out of curiosity, I pulled a full GT reading for Trump (who has now been let off one of his charges - amazing what sympathy can do…)

The spread certainly had some interesting - and on point - things to say.

Here’s how the cards fell:

But what is it saying about him?
