Tuesday: Keir Starmer & The UK Labour Party: What Do The Cards Say About His Prospects?
Tuesday 14th May 2024
So for today’s reading, we’re going to utilise one of the several ways you can read BIG 52-card decks in a “Grand Tableau” in a relatively quick way.
The method involves counting in 9s in multiple directions from a particular significator. We’ll be looking in more detail at how to use this method later in the week, but for now, I’ll just be showing you the layout and interpreting the cards in this way.
We’ll be using the Sibilla Indovina for this (it would also work with the Vera Sibilla, Sibilla della Zingara (Gypsy Oracle Cards) and Gypsy Witch. Less so with smaller decks, where we can use our standard GT methods.
Take a look at my introduction to this deck here:
As you’ll know, I’ve been looking at various politicians and parties here on the Daily Oracle over the last few weeks; Trump and Biden in the US as well as the state of the UK’s currently ruling Conservative (Tory) party. You can remind yourselves of a couple of those here:
So! For today! (Sir) Keir Starmer, former Director of Public Prosecutions, is the current Leader of the Opposition, so in charge of the Labour party and, if polls are correct and Labour win the election—there are still predictions of a hung parliament— therefore is likely to be the UK’s next prime minister, despite not being wildly popular as a leader, and he’s even been sporting new glasses lately for the occasion, lol! We’ve also already looked previously at his relationship with current prime ministerial incumbent, the Conservative’s Rishi Sunak (also not wildly popular as a leader! But who has managed to save his skin up until now).
I do quite often use the Lawyer card for Starmer, since he is one, but in this case, I’m simply going to use the main male significator, the Male Consultant card. And if the Lawyer energy comes up, so be it (Hint: Reader, it does)
So here’s the Grand Tableau I laid, asking about Keir Starmer, the UK Labour party and his prospects as a future leader of the UK.
You can see the Male Consultant appears at the right-hand end of the row in the fourth row down.
Subscribers can check the card meanings for this deck via the index here.
So what does it reveal? Let’s find out!
