Tuesday: An Uncertain Lover's Thoughts After A Major Disaster, The Dream Shattered, Protection Failed

So today, for a “What’s coming up now in the news?” question, we’ll be using the Gypsy Card/ Sibilla della Zingara deck, in a five-card layout, which includes reversals.

Here are the cards I pulled.

The three reversed cards are The Lover, Sighs and The Soldier.

The Cards

Misfortune: A calamity or major disaster

Thought: Thought, reflection, consideration.

Lover (R): A male lover, confused and uncertain.

Sighs (R): Longing is over, a dream has vanished.

Soldier (R): Failed protection

The Reading

At the centre, then, is a confused or unsure male lover (Lover, R), perhaps one who doesn’t know how to help or what to do for the best. Around him in the reading is a failure of protection, the big man act faltering or helpless in the face of major catastrophe (Misfortune-Soldier R), as he realises that a dream has shattered (Thought-Sighs R).
