Today’s reading is just a brief one, as I’ve not used Seaqueen’s Inquiry Layout for a while. It’s a bit like a mini 9-Card box spread, so is a kind of “lite” version of that, although I’ve drawn an underlying energy card for this also.
We’re using the Sibilla Indovina today, the Italian/International version of the famous 19th century French Sibylle des Salons.

So, I was going to do a general reading for today about Maladies and sickness anyway as they keep coming up in my readings recently. I’ve mostly assumed they are about “dysfunction” and things wrong, especially when they’re society-wide (pandemics excepted), but it seems rather pertinent when health issues have cropped up so suddenly in UK news about the Royals in the last day, and NOT in ways (or people, given it’s happened to Kate, and then Charles made his own announcement) that were expected. Now, I have previously alluded to sickness in the royal household, in a number of readings recently, but usually it has tended to feature the older female members of the family, if anyone, so I had my assumptions as to who that might be.
So. I don’t think it’s fair to speculate on individual medical details (most of these cards wouldn’t tell you anyway) and I sincerely hope Kate will be okay, but I did want to ask the cards more about the news of sickness and how it’s being handled in general.
Here’s how today’s cards came out.
And the underlying energy?
Well, I think that’s pretty accurate, don’t you?
I’m also mindful of our Russian Gypsy Fortune Card reading for the beginning of the month. Remember? It was all about someone letting the cat out of the bag, tenderness (repeated in today’s reading) in the face of “attack” ( a Dagger, for a wound - surgery?) and everyone rallying together supportively. Take a look back here:
