Thursday: Major Turning Point After Stuckness, With Positive Routes Coming, But For Whom? Burdens of Expected Persona & A Fated Test
Thursday 9th June 2023
For today’s reading, which is on the general atmosphere around Harry’s court case, I’m using the Ciro Marchetti Gilded Reverie Lenormand and a 9-card spread.
Meanwhile, if you’re wondering about the comparison between Lenormand and other Oracle decks, you might want to check out my thoughts on that here:
So! The Lenormand cards I pulled for today are as follows, and the Key came out at the centre:
The Cards
Key, Coffin, Mountain, Bouquet, Time, Crossroads, Sun, Mask, Cross
The Reading
The Key at the centre of the reading suggests a major turning point or that this is a key event somehow; that there will be answers. The corner cards suggest there’ll be a positive ending here (Coffin, Bouquet), although it doesn’t say for whom, and that happiness and success is being marred by ‘heaviness’ and a sense of great burden (Sun, Cross).
Around the Key, we have what looks like time dragging on (Mountain, Time) and also options and avenues being blocked (Mountain, Crossroads), over some kind of facade persona, or role that’s in play (Mask).
At the heart of the reading is the suggestion that this period is one in which a significant turning point is reached, that perhaps seems somewhat ‘fated’ in terms of the options presented now (Time, Key, Crossroads). What’s known and out in the open about it is that there’s a rigidity, an inability to move on, a kind of deadness in this situation which nonetheless may prove positive in the end (Coffin, Mountain, Bouquet) or brings certain advantages. Underpinning the importance in the situation is a persona or role, around which is a heavy burden, masking the happiness and success of the past (Sun, Mask, Cross).
Recently, it appears that there’s been an end to a period of happiness (Coffin, Time, Sun), and now there is a blocking of the answer or truth over the masks and falsehoods at play (Mountain, Key, Mask). Ahead, these cards suggest there will be more positive choices and paths with regard to life tests and burdens (Bouquet, Crossroads, Cross).
Diagonally, these cards suggest that this is a kind of “final” and fated test (Coffin, Key. Cross) and again, there is something positive that is revealed or comes out of it (Bouquet, Key, Sun)
A major turning point or key event that should bring answers. A positive ending is likely and there’s a sense of happiness and success being masked by trial, heaviness and burden. Time is dragging on, certain pathways get shut down, and there’s some kind of mask or persona that’s in play. This is a time during which important choices for the future will become apparent, and the stagnancy and inability to move on may bring positives in the end. The appearance of negativity or great burden is masking the happiness and success of the past. Happiness has come to an end, but now the truth about the falsehoods is being blocked. Ahead, however, there will be more positive choices available with regard to dealing with life tests and burdens; this appears to be a ‘final’ and fated ordeal.
Meanwhile, if you’re someone who has this particular Lenormand deck, and find that you sometimes struggle with card combinations for the additional eight cards (Time, Bridges, Dice, Mask, Well, Compass, Labyrinth, Magnifying Glass), you might be interested in my 80pp supplementary card combinations booklet, which is available as a downloadable PDF from my Lozzy’s Lenormand website. (It also includes combinations for the four extra cards in the Rana George Lenormand deck). Click below to check it out.
