I’m once again using the Piatnik Traditional Fortune Telling Cards today (which are an early 20th century design, but based on the Austrian precursor to the Vera Sibilla/Gypsy Oracle. They are also known as “Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards” or just “Gypsy Cards”). This particular version of the deck has 36 cards.
And it’s just a VERY quick ‘n dirty three card reading for today.
The Cards
Falseness: Lies, corruption, deception
Officer: A bearer of authority
Judge: A judge, legal proceedings, verdict
The Reading
At the centre, then is the Officer, an official person who is (or has been) the bearer of authority, someone in official position. Around him is a judgement or verdict in a process or tribunal (Judge) regarding lies, corruption or deception (Falseness)—whether this person told the truth or not, official untruths or misinformation (Falseness-Official) is what is being judged and a verdict brought on him at this time (Official-Judge).
If you’re in the UK, I don’t think who it is will come as much of a surprise. Former PM Boris Johnson has just been up before the Privileges Committee for the Partygate Inquiry and the specific question of whether he deliberately lied to Parliament. I don’t, however, think the official judgement will be for some time yet, although the press and public will continue to make their own, as indeed they are already doing today.
At the centre of the reading is an official or person in authority on whom a judgement about his falseness is currently being made. Official truths (or not) misinformation, or corruption as well as the individual and his truthfulness personally are what is being judged at this time.
This could be true for just about any politician on the world stage today!
