Thursday: Falseness, Lies Adhered To & Given A Boost, With Truth Collapsed & Woman Grieving What's Been Lost
Thursday 18th April 2024
As I’ve done a few times recently, I like to try to explore in more depth areas that keep coming up in “bigger” readings from earlier in the week or month and today is also no exception.
The focus point for today is yet another issue that came up in Monday’s reading for the week, and that is about falsehoods and misinformation that appears to be being adhered to. To dig more deeply into this, I’m using the Austrian Piatnik 1901 Traditional Zigeuner (“Gypsy” or Bohemian) Fortune Telling Cards, which are a smaller offshoot of the Italian Vera Sibilla. Check out the differences and similarities between these two highly related decks, including card meanings, here:
Unsurprisingly, I chose the Falseness card, also represented by a cat, around which to focus today’s reading, which is a simple 9-Card Box Spread, always one of the best spreads to use for digging deeper into situations. You’ll see that in the reading analysis below I go into quite a lot of detail about how to read this spread, as well as the interpretation for today.
I also think it’s worth noting once again that I always get particularly curious about situations where the cards that are drawn appear to be the same in readings using completely different decks. Repeats like this, I find, usually means they’re “onto something”, and the “something” involved can operate on multiple levels, both for individuals who may be in the news at a given time, and as more general energies for the world and current affairs at large.
This certainly appears to be the case here. The cards drawn for today were as follows, and it’s really worth noting that we have a LOT of repeating cards clustering around the Falseness one that we saw in Monday’s reading. The Journey, the Fortune card, the Marriage, the Thief, and even the older woman again (Widow). Bear in mind that the deck we used for Monday’s reading has 52 cards and the Traditional Zigeuner deck has 36, it’s remarkable that so many have come up the same again when we pick just nine cards.
Interesting.
The Cards
Fortune, Journey, Lover; Misfortune, Falseness, Marriage; Loyalty, Thief, Widow
So how can we interpret this and what steps can we take to do so? Read on!
