The cards for today fell as follows. The card at the centre is usually known as the Blonde Woman, but in this 2022 version of the deck, Grimaud have renamed this the Romance card.

The Reading

At the centre, then, is the card usually known as the Blonde Woman, but here it is the Romance, or rather flirtation card. This is likely to refer to an actual woman but also a case of flirtation, of trying to use one’s feminine wiles to get what you want. And this does indeed appear to be a game of some kind (Gamblers), a woman doing her best to play the charm game, to score a Victory, and gain love and adoration, perhaps popularity, ahead (Love).
