Surprisingly Good News Of Enemy's Demise, Talk Of Change, But Watch Out For Losses
Tuesday 22nd November 2022
So today, I’m using the Italian Vera Sibilla deck, which has the same cards as the Gypsy Oracle deck. Again, although you can read these cards including reversals, I’m not doing for the time being.
At The Centre:
(La Lettera) Letter: News
(Gran Consolazione) Great Consolation: Surprisingly good news
Top Row:
(Morte) Death: A death, a funeral, an ending
(Viaggio) Journey: A trip or journey; a positive change
(Il Ladro) Thief: Theft or loss; bad intentions
Bottom Row:
(Il Nemico) Enemy: Male enemy
(La Conversazione): Talk, discussion, dialogue, meeting
(Casa) House: Home, House
So this suggests there will be news that’s better than expected or surprisingly positive (Letter, Grand Consolation). It appears to involve an ending or death (Death), a positive change in some way (Journey) and a loss or theft or someone who commits that (Thief). So this could represent loss or theft situation coming to an end or the end of someone with bad intent in terms of making positive changes (Death, Journey, Thief). Although it could also suggest a change after an ending being stolen.
The bottom row that shows the “final outcome” shows a male enemy (Enemy), discussion, a meeting or talks (Conversation) and a House, which could represent a ‘domestic’ situation or a specific house, for example, a Parliament or institution. So it could be talks and a gathering OF enemies, or it could be talks and a meeting CONCERNING an enemy, likely in an institution of some kind.
If we read the cards diagonally around this “better than expected” news, we get an ending in a House or institution (Death, Letter/Big Consolation, House), and a thieving enemy (Thief, Male Enemy).
And if we look at the cards vertically, we see the end of an enemy (Coffin-Enemy), some positive changes and better than expected news in terms of a meeting, talks or discussion (Journey, Letter/Big Consolation, Conversation)… but then followed by a “thief” or someone with bad intent in the home or institution, a “burglary” (Thief, House). So I’m not quite sure we should trust this supposedly marvellous news yet.
Surprisingly positive news about the demise of an enemy, and talks or meetings that bring changes, but watch out for bad intent domestically or within an institution.
