"Six Main Themes" Layout: Sibylle des Salons
A classic spread for the Sibille des Salons, with a focus on reading cards in threes.
This method, fairly complex, comes from the 1960s and 70s editions of Grimaud’s Parlour Sibyl, and requires all 52 cards. (As such, you COULD use it with the Vera Sibilla or Gypsy Oracle/Sibilla della Zingara also). Again, this is most suitable as a “What’s coming up for me over X period” type of reading.
Rather like the Mystic Sevens spread, it’s a reading of two halves. The first involves an initial 7x4 + 6 layout, and once again an element of “counting” (which is present in several oracle card reading methods as well as playing card patience and solitaire games).
