For today, as it’s the final day of April, we have another useful layout for predicting the month ahead that comes straight from the French Tarot cartomancer “Etteilla”, but that works well with any deck where you have reversed meanings of cards as well as upright ones.
The layout is called Jacob’s Ladder and it’s a good general “themes” layout, with the added bonus that it looks at both sides of a theme, the positive and the negative aspects. I’ll cover how to lay and read it later in the week, but for this second look at the month ahead, we’re using the Sibilla della Zingara aka “Gypsy” Oracle deck.
Find out all about this deck here:
Meanwhile, here’s the spread for today, which is aiming to look at themes for the month upcoming.
The Cards (from bottom)
Despair, Lover, Old Woman; Scholar, Gifts, Falseness; Love, Young Woman, Constancy; Conversation, Thought, Messenger; Sweetheart, Surprise, Sighs; Merchant, Pleasure Seekers, Reunion; Sorrow, Child, House
What exactly are they predicting for the month of May in this layout?
