March Month Ahead & This Month's Deck—The Sibilla Della Zingara (Gypsy Oracle) And La Vera Sibilla Cards
A "Mystic 7s" Spread For The Month Ahead
Now that we’re in March, I want to continue our deep dive into the various 19th and early 20th century oracle decks with two versions of a deck that are strongly related to both of the decks we’ve been looking into so far this year (the Kipper cards and Austro-Hungarian Bohemian cards). So! The deck for this month is the Sibilla della Zingara ,which most people know as the “Gypsy Oracle Cards”, which in turn are a slightly simplified version of the earlier classic Italian La Vera Sibilla (“The True Oracle or Sibyl”) . You’ll sometimes see that one marketed as “Everyday Oracle Cards”. We’ll be covering those in tandem this month, as they are essentially the same deck; it’s just that one has playing card references and one does not.
