In all cases, the Gypsy Oracle/Sibilla della Zingara version is on the left, and the Vera Sibilla on the right. Note that the Vera Sibilla contains extra elements, playing card references and also lottery numbers. The original Italian meanings can sometimes add additional nuance to the meaning of the cards.
Malady
Upright: Malady, sickness, unhealthiness, but is often more about wrongness or “sickness” in a situation than necessarily physical health. The malady is the result of sickness rather than say, a disease itself. A period of negativity or illness. Bedrest required. Exhaustion. Suffering, overwhelm. Weakness. Something flawed and unhealthy, isolation.
