The Reading
At the centre, once again, we have a man grieving a loss (Widower), and he is focusing on official positions and those in authority, perhaps a military role. He has recently made a journey or trip (Journey), but ahead will be facing more losses (Loss) of something material or valuable to him. Driving him from beneath are the Gifts and benefits of his position.
He has, however, made enemies in an official capacity on his travels (Enemy, Officer, Journey) or he is thinking of his official enemies from whom he may have previously escaped. And he thinks about the journey he made (Journey, Thought) and considers it a Gift. Now, however…
