Combining More Than Two Cards To Make A Story
How can you combine more than two Vera Sibilla/Gypsy Oracle cards to make a coherent story in your reading?
We’ve been looking a lot at combining pairs of cards, but in pretty much all readings you’ll do with the Gypsy Oracle or indeed any other oracle deck, you’ll usually be using a minimum of three cards, even as part of a larger reading.
So how can you “combine” longer strings of cards into the “story” the cards are trying to communicate?
Here are my tips
1. Remember That Cards On The Right Still Usually Influence Cards On the Left
And cards above, cards below, in the main, which is relevant if you’re doing, say, 9-card spreads.
2.Ensure You Include ALL Cards In The Spread In Your Interpretation
The more cards you have (or the more invested you are in your answer), the more tempting it can be to “accidentally” miss out an inconvenient card from your desired interpretation. So it may be basic, but do ensure you give every card in your layout equal weight, and don’t miss any off when you interpret them!
