Purpose Of The Spread

The idea of this spread is to identify any enemies you have, find out what they’re doing and why, and how to deal with them.

How Many Cards Does It Use?

15, including the Significator.

Suitable Decks

You can use ANY of the oracle decks for this.

Significator/Central Cards

You will be pre-choosing your “Enemy” card from the options in your deck and according to what kind of enmity you’re talking about. So for instance:

Kipper Cards: False Person (someone in disguise)

Lenormand Cards: Fox, Snake or Mountain (deceiver, betrayer/trouble, or blockage/ “mighty enemy”

Sibylle des Salons/Indovina: Enemy or reversed Sincere Friend

La Vera Sibilla/Sibilla della Zingara: Enemy (m), Foe (f). You could also use the reversed Friend for a supposed friend you can’t trust. Plus there is the Falseness card.

Zigeuner/Bohemian or Gypsy Cards: Enemy or Falseness

So now let’s look at the spread itself, and how to lay and read it, along with some examples using three different decks.
