Today, I’ve done a quick reading with another Kipper deck, the Salish, which follows the original Kipper designs exactly, and is in German. In drawing the cards, (in the day following the resignation of UK PM Liz Truss, which I think yesterday’s Lenormand cards illustrated clearly!) I was thinking of the political, rather than the personal sphere. Who is the man, we wonder?
In this traditional method of reading, cards are chosen, after the pack is shuffled, by laying cards in threes until one of the Master cards is uncovered, laying that as part of the reading with the first card below it, and then continuing laying in threes. Kipper Master cards being: Thoughts, Main Male, Main Female, Expectation, Big Luck, Marriage, Meeting/Courtship, Winning A Lot Of Money, House, High Honours, and the Coffin, which I have used as a Stop card (ending the message when it is uncovered, a kind of fullstop or period, like the ‘stop’ in a telegram).
